Downloading full client (if you don't have any version)

There is only one way to get the game at the moment since download while play option DOES NOT WORK :

Using a torrent to get full client (use qBittorrent in case you have troubles downloading)

WARNING: After torrent download is done, be sure to remove READ ONLY from the Data folder, otherwise your game will crash at start.

One solution to the long loading screens is to add this line in your WTF\Config.wtf file

Errors at launch
- The application has encountered a critical error: ERROR #132 (0x85100084) Fatal exception! - There are multiple known causes:
  - Only for Windows 8 / Windows 10:

    Press your windows key on the keyboard and search xbox. Open the xbox application and go through the initial setup if you haven't opened it before, takes less than 5 minutes. Then once in the main app click the SETTINGS gear. At the top it says General / Game DVR / Xbox One / Network / etc. Click on Game DVR and turn off Record game clips and screenshots using Game DVR

    If you also see an option Show Game bar when I play full screen games Microsoft has verified, uncheck it
  - Solution #2 (Only for Windows 8 / Windows 10, but you can try on older versions too)

    Right click on Wow.exe => Properties => Compatibility
    
    Then set Compatibility Mode to Windows 7
    
    Now do the same for Wow-64.exe
  - Solution #3

    If you manage to get ingame but you get this error while playing:
    
    Then try to change WoW settings: System => Advanced => Graphics API to DirectX 9
  - Solution #4

    This usually means your operating system doesn't support 64 bits application (or there is something wrong with your configuration). You can try deleting Wow-64.exe and launcher_freakz-64.exe (and maybe even launcher_freakz-64.dll) and start the game using launcher_freakz.exe. It might also mean you are using an old launcher, redownload it above
- The application was unable to start correctly (0xc000007b)

  This usually means your operating system doesn't support 64 bits application (or there is something wrong with your configuration). You can try deleting Wow-64.exe and launcher_freakz-64.exe (and maybe even launcher_freakz-64.dll) and start the game using launcher_freakz.exe. It might also mean you are using an old launcher, redownload it above
- The CAS system was unable to initialize / failed to create storage component / shared memory file data/data/shmem / E_STORAGE_INIT

  You need to remove the READ ONLY attribute from the Data folder
- The CAS system was unable to initialize / failed fetching the CDN configuration file / E_NOT_AVAILABLE

  Try deleting the config folder from the Data folder and extract the config folder from this archive (if that one doesn't work, also try this archive too)
- The CAS system was unable to initialize: WOWDOWNLOAD_FORBIDDEN / WOWDOWNLOAD_GOT_NOTHING

  This is most likely do to PROXY settings on your computer. Go to Control Panel, search for proxy and click on it
  
  Now go to the Connections tab and click on Settings
  
  Now make sure Use a proxy server IS DISABLED
- Your World of Warcraft installation is damaged
  - Solution #2

    Try deleting the config folder from the Data folder and extract the config folder from this archive (if that one doesn't work, also try this archive too)
  - Solution #3

    This is valid only if you have the battle.net retail application (if not, try to install it)
    
    Open the battle.net app and try a "Scan and Repair"
    
    If this doesn't help, go to "Game Settings"
    
    then "Game Install/Update", add your wow folder there then "Scan for Games"
    
    then run step 1 again "Scan and Repair" from the main menu
  - Solution #4

    If you don't already have it, download Battle.net retail app, open it then install World of Warcraft retail version.
    
    After the game is installed, place the wow freakz launcher there (as already explained in this guide), remove read only from data folder (as already explained in this guide) and start the game.
    
    Warning! Blizzard might update their wow version too much and this method may stop working anytime
- http://eu.patch.battle.net:1119/wow/cdns / http://cdn-wow.freakz.ro/version/USwow/23420 - WoW not able to connect to the network data source

  This can happen for many reasons, mostly related to your internet connection. First, try downloading this file http://eu.patch.battle.net:1119/wow/cdns, does it work? Most likely not, but do you get any useful error in your browser? If not:
  
  You are behind a router and your ports are blocked. Easiest way do avoid this is set your computer as a DMZ zone (demilitarized zone). How to do this depends on your router, google enable DMZ YOUR_ROUTER_NAME. If you can't do that but you know how to unblock ports, check the next step
  
  If you are in a public network with ports blocked and no access to the router you will have to contact your network administrator and tell him tu unblock the following TCP ports: 1111-1119, 1129, 8001-8009, 8019, 8085, 8086
  
  You may have some strange DNS overrides (etc/hosts) from playing on other servers, be sure to delete them if you remember doing this
  
  If you still can't fix it, you can also try the solution from The CAS system was unable to initialize / failed fetching the CDN configuration file / E_NOT_AVAILABLE,
  the one with the config folder delete/download
- There was a problem launching wow.exe, make sure this launcher is in your wow directory

  You probably have WoW in a folder/path with strange/non-english characters or with a too long name, try moving WoW to a clean path, like D:\Games\WoW\
- "Access is denied" error when trying to open the launcher / the launcher disappears from the folder

  This means your antivirus is blocking the launcher. You need to either disable your antivirus (including Windows Defender) or add launcher to antivirus allowed / exceptions list. Don't worry, there is no virus

Errors at login
- We couldn't log you in with what you just entered. Please try again. (BLZ51900003)

  There are 3 common reasons for this error:
  
  You are not using our launcher
  
  You incorrectly created your account, for WoW you need to create your account here https://www.wow-freakz.com/register.php
  
  You have a very old account, then all you need to do is login once on the main website https://www.wow-freakz.com/ then you should be able to login ingame
- You have been disconnected. (BLZ51914001 / BLZ51914002 / BLZ51914003)
